Call for applications - Junior BIA Representative
BIA invite all trainees below ST3 to apply for the role of ‘Junior BIA representative’ by the 30th January 2020. The representative will work closely with the trainee representative for meetings and will also be part of the BIA education subcommittee. The responsibilities for the representative are outlined below.
· To assist in the organisation and promotion of the biannual junior trainee evening following on from the trainees days.
- To attend and contribute ideas to the training subcommittee.
- To contribute ideas and content to online educational ventures including study tools created by BIA.
- To promote BIA in its entirety (including but not limited to training events, educational tools, available grants/opportunities) by liaising with various organisations associated with infection specialty and educational establishments such as medical schools and various training deaneries.
Conflicts of interest
As for everybody who takes a formal role within BIA appointment to this post will require disclosure of any potential conflicts of interest.
