Anyone with PhD/MD, from newly postdoctoral through to established postdoc; clinical and non-clinical. Doctors can be trainees or consultants.

Research must fall within NIHR applied health/social-care remit. Clinical applicants can spend up to 40% of award time in clinical/practice activity.

2–5 years, 50–100% FTE. Salary + research costs + training/development + support posts.

Twice yearly; next round expected to open Oct 2026
