The Infection Prevention Society is delighted to announce the introduction of the brand new Infection Prevention Show! This exciting event will provide a platform to showcase the latest innovative technologies and products. The audience will be able to interact with experts and personalities whilst learning of the exciting possibilities offered by these latest innovations.
This day will be relevant to all infection prevention and control healthcare professionals across many industry sectors as well as professionals from catering to hospitality and from pharmacy, dentistry to veterinary services.
The show is free for all to attend and will be open from 10am - 4:30pm on Monday 1st October but will form part of the main conference programme between 10:30am - 1pm. Show delegates will be able to access the exhibition and participate in the live sessions and demonstrations on offer. Please note that attendance does not include access to the main conference sessions.
Highlights of the Show include a session from BBC Broadcaster, NHS Doctor, Private Eye Journalist and comedian, Dr Phil Hammond. During his session 'The Impact of Change', Dr Hammond will consider the effects on the NHS for its staff, patients, and suppliers of rapid change in personal and business environments. Further key highlights of the Show include, a 'Pitch in Five' with companies presenting their technologies with delegates providing their feedback by voting on the conference app. We will also be hosting 'Question Time' on the app and will be asking the audience their opinion on the use of technology within the work place. Dr Jon Otter, Head of Operations at the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust along with Dr Phil Hammond will be joining us for 'Frank Conversations' to discuss contemporary issues in a very informal setting.
