CeBIL Annual Symposium 2019: Legal Innovation to Support the Development of Anti-Microbial Drugs
This event will run from 8.45am-6pm and aims to explore the complex interactions between law and antimicrobial research and development. As antimicrobial resistance continues to expand, raising the risk of a future public health crisis, advancing our understanding of this ecosystem will help design a better legal toolkit to promote antimicrobial innovation and limit the impact of resistance on global health.
We will hear from an international showcase of speakers and panellists including Professor Dame Sally Davies (Chief Medical Officer, UK), Professor Kevin Outterson (CARB-X), Professor Aaron Kesselheim (PORTAL, Harvard), Dr Christine Årdal (Norwegian Institute for Public Health, DRIVE-AB), Professor Steven Hoffman (York University), Dr Colm Leonard (NICE) and Dr Jean-Pierre Pacaud (GARDP).
Lunch and refreshments will be provided and the event will conclude with a networking and drinks reception at Christ's College. For catering purposes please do let us know if you are vegetarian, vegan or have any other dietary requirements.
