Ten Top Tips

 

The RCP HCAI Working Group has recently published general guidance on minimising healthcare-associated infection within its 'Ten Top Tips' initiative: www.rcplondon.ac.uk/resources/top-ten-tips-series. It is hoped that these simple messages can be promoted across the healthcare economy by all practicing clinicians. 

 

Advice is given on: C. difficile, insertion of central venous catheters, norovirus, effective antibiotic prescribing and aseptic technique

Tackling HIV Testing: increasing detection and diagnosis

 

This is a new pack of downloadable materials from the Medical Foundation for AIDS and Sexual Health (MedFASH). It is designed to support HIV-specialists in getting the recommendations of the UK national guidelines for HIV testing 2008 implemented in their place of work.
